General Information Do While Virtual Events was created to expand the community of Do While Studio without increasing the size of our Boston based facilities. On-line Events was a project of Do While Virtual. We are committed to developing events that are international in scope and accessable through relatively common desktop technology. This series used software environments that were free of charge, easy to install, and had a small learning curve. One of the unique qualities of this type of on-line artwork is that each participant had a different event experience based on hardware and software configurations. To facilitate real-time coordination, we used Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) as a scheduling standard. We built a time zone resource to calculate the start time of events for each participant.
